Your data in Odoo: where it lives, who can access it, how you get it out.
ERP tenders now come with cybersecurity and legal checklists. Your teams want to know where the ERP is hosted and who processes the data. We implement Odoo, a European, open-source ERP, and help you choose hosting and AI based on how sensitive your data is. You stay in control of your data, and you can leave at any time.

Data sovereignty comes down to concrete questions.
In the ERP projects we run with mid-market companies, nobody asks about sovereignty as a concept. The questions are more precise.
Where will the ERP be hosted: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own servers? Who processes the data when you switch hosting? What guarantees should you require in the cybersecurity and legal sections of your tender? Which clauses on personal data and liability belong in the contract? These questions come up early. Better to answer them before they hold up a decision.

Your challenges
What control over your data has to make possible.
Balance performance and compliance on sensitive data.
Your finance and HR teams need a fast tool. That same data demands the highest level of control.
Build European resilience.
When your organisation operates in several countries, your hosting and vendor choices have to hold up at European scale.
Innovate with data and AI, without losing control.
AI opens up new uses. It has to be deployed securely, with a clear view of where your data goes.
Industrialise data flows for AI.
Setting up, running and automating the data flows AI depends on can quickly become complex and costly.
Our role
Three questions we can answer.
We are not lawyers, and we are not a sovereign cloud provider. We are the implementation partner that delivers and advises.
Where your data lives.
Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or the hosting provider of your choice: we help you choose based on how sensitive your data is, then we handle the migration.
Who can access it.
We set up access rights, backups and the AI that processes your data, in Odoo and around it.
How you get it out.
Odoo runs on a standard, exportable PostgreSQL database. You keep the option to leave, at any time.
A European, open-source ERP by design.
Odoo is developed in Belgium and subject to EU law. Its Community code is open source: no black box, auditable code, less dependence on the vendor.
You choose between three hosting options: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, or on-premise with the hosting provider of your choice, Enterprise edition included. Your data stays in a standard PostgreSQL database that you can export. Compared with the large American ERP vendors, that is a fundamental difference.

Hosting
The right hosting depends on how sensitive your data is.
We know how to migrate from one option to another, and we have already moved customers to Odoo.sh. We also tell you what each option guarantees, and what it does not.
Odoo Online
Odoo’s SaaS edition, run by Odoo on Google Cloud Platform in a European region.
Odoo.sh
Odoo’s hosting platform, also on Google Cloud Platform in a European region. It is the option we work with most.
On-premise or DynCloud
Odoo, Enterprise included, with the hosting provider of your choice or on DynCloud. Security, backups and updates then rest with you or with us: we put a price on that responsibility together.

AI in Odoo, with the provider you choose.
Our role is to know Odoo well enough (its data model, its access rights, its upgrades) to build AI around and inside Odoo, in the direction you choose. Native AI in Odoo 19 runs on OpenAI and Google Gemini. Prefer Claude, Mistral or a local AI? Our MCP (Model Context Protocol) module connects Odoo to different AI models. And we support companies that want to run their own AI on their own premises.

Use cases
The three AI use cases that deliver most for our customers.
Reading incoming documents.
AI reads your supplier invoices and incoming documents (OCR and extraction), linked to e-invoicing.
Natural-language search.
Your business teams query ERP data in plain language: stock, orders, outstanding balances.
Writing support.
Customer replies, product sheets, support case summaries: AI helps your teams write them.
Our offer
A progressive offer, matched to your maturity and your choices.
Inside Odoo or outside it, we move at your pace. You start where you are.
Audit
A first-level assessment: where your data lives, who can access it, how you get it out, and where AI fits.
AI onboarding
Your teams get hands-on with the AI you choose, on their own use cases.
Implementation
We deliver the hosting, access rights, backups, reversibility and AI, in Odoo and around it.
Everything you need to know about managing your data in Odoo.
No. Odoo Online and Odoo.sh run on the Google Cloud Platform. You can choose a European region, but the infrastructure is still provided by a US vendor and is subject to the Cloud Act. This is not SecNumCloud hosting. If the sensitivity of your data requires it, we will work with you to explore on-premise hosting or hosting on DynCloud.
No. Compliance remains your company’s responsibility. We handle hosting, access, backups, and AI, and we perform a first-level assessment. For legal matters, we work with partners as needed.
Yes. Odoo 19’s native AI is based on OpenAI and Google Gemini, and certain features, such as AI fields, only work with OpenAI. A European AI like Mistral, or a self-hosted AI, requires third-party modules or custom development. Our MCP module connects Odoo to various AI systems, and we provide support for deploying local AI solutions.
Yes. Odoo is based on a standard, exportable PostgreSQL database. We know how to migrate between Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and on-premise hosting, and we have already performed migrations to Odoo.sh.
The Dynapps Group is ISO 27001 certified. Dynapps France is not yet included in the scope of this certification but plans to obtain it in the future. Odoo SA and Google Cloud, which operate the Odoo.sh data centres, have their own certifications. These do not cover our processes.
Sovereignty does not mean using only French tools. It is the ability to make informed choices about where data goes and how it is processed. For our internal tools, we use off-the-shelf solutions without storing our clients’ production data on them. For your data, we offer European hosting, European or self-hosted AI, and the option to exit at any time.
Let’s look at where your data stands.
A first conversation to understand where your data lives, who can access it and how you get it out. And to see where Odoo and AI fit.
