What you'll take ownership of
As an Odoo/Python Developer at Dynapps, you'll help build custom solutions based on the Odoo platform. You'll never work from scratch, but instead start from existing modules and code, which you'll analyze, understand, and extend.
What your role specifically entails:
- You'll receive the FUD (Functional Breakdown) from the Business Consultant via Confluence. Based on this, you'll analyze the request and determine the technical requirements.
- You interpret existing Odoo code and extract the correct logic, so you can build new functionality on top of what already exists.
- You develop in Python, working closely with fellow developers via Git. You test your code in a client-specific TEST-ODOO environment without customer data.
- First, the Business Consultant tests your work, then the key user at the client. You update the feedback until everything is correct.
- When everyone gives the green light, we can plan the go-live together 🚀
You will be taking responsibility for:
- The technical development of new functionalities.
- The design, development, and implementation of Odoo modules and customizations.
- The maintenance and optimization of existing implementations.
- You deliver the best and most qualitative solution for the customer in Odoo.
- Identifying areas for improvement to continuously strengthen our projects and processes.
- Constructive collaboration with fellow developers, functional consultants, and your Project Manager.
What we're looking for
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in ICT.
- You have several years of professional experience in Python coding and ideally with Odoo.
- You have experience with Object-Oriented Programming.
- You have strong analytical thinking skills.
- Knowledge or experience with collaboration tools such as Git, Buildout, Jira, Confluence, etc., is desirable.
- It is a plus if you also have knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and experience in frontend development (Javascript, CSS, HTML).
- You speak fluent English and Dutch.
- You are eager to grow within our rapidly expanding environment.
